Based out of our Northwestern Region, in order to further strengthen our National Technical and Sales team we are currently seeking a Technical Advisor for Bakery.
Reporting directly to the Key Account Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for supporting profitable business growth for a large customer by first demonstrating on their equipment and then enabling the effective implementation of Puratos’ innovative bakery concepts and solutions for the client In-Store Baker (ISB). Troubleshooting specific issues to identify solutions will also be a key.
· 75% - Bring big ideas to and successfully execute key projects at the client site:
o Create and introduce new concepts that advance the customer’s category strategy and “treasure hunts”
o Professionally and efficiently demonstrate Puratos’ products with strong emphasis on the benefits associated with our innovations and unique technologies
o Actively contribute to the creation of the client training documentation to enable successful new product launches
o Effectively troubleshoot customer issues, engaging and leveraging R&D where possible
o Successfully execute and follow up on all assigned projects at the client’s location.
· 10% - Contribute best efforts and expertise to internal customer events:
o Actively participate and contribute to internal customer events (e.g., Taste Tomorrow) demonstrating products that will delight our customers
o Deliver customer training, as needed, professionally and efficiently demonstrating Puratos’ products with strong emphasis on the benefits associated with our innovations and unique technologies
· 10% - Proactively build and share expertise in the bakery product range:
o Actively pursue and acquire new and demonstrable knowledge and skills
o Regularly engage with knowledgeable others in the bakery field to build networks which will expand and enhance the Puratos brand
o Actively share intelligence and personal points of view on innovative technologies and market trends – internally and externally
· 5% - Accurately maintain and manage all technical administration:
o Prepare and deliver all relevant recipes and reports for each project – with attention to timeliness, accuracy, and thoroughness

· Expense control – within budget
As with each member of our Sales force, the incumbent must be able to effectively communicate commercial and technical insights in order to successfully capture business opportunities for both Puratos and our customers and to eliminate the chance of placing our products at risk.
Must possess and demonstrate: creativity and passion for bakery; detail orientation; cleanliness and organization; a positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness/ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
