About the 2025–26 OSIFT Speaker Series This season, OSIFT will host an eight-event dinner series (Sept 2025–May 2026) to explore the history, current state, and future of Oregon agriculture and food processing—and ask a practical question: what can food technologists and Oregon’s broader food community do to strengthen the state’s processing ecosystem?
We’ll announce speakers as they’re confirmed. Our aim this season is to understand the ecosystem’s headwinds and tailwinds, learn from data and lived experience, and surface promising ways our community can help, spanning history; economics and markets; policy and regulation; infrastructure and capacity; and models and case studies.
