Salary:
$20/hour
 
Schedule:
Full-time, Sunday – Thursday, occasionally working off-site 
This position requires use of one’s own vehicle to travel to various company sites and local locations.

About the job
We are looking for a Food Safety Documentation Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for document oversight relative to scope of local, state, and federal compliance. These may include regulatory requirements from Oregon Health Authority, the Oregon Department of Agriculture, the US Food and Drug Administration (FSMA, Sanitary Transportation Rule), and the US Department of Agriculture. In this position you will oversee the continuous improvement of our systems for food safety and the documentation of all processes and plans.
This position entails various Food Safety elements within our company, including:

• Food Safety Audit & Facility and Equipment Sanitation Records – Maintenance & Oversight
• Foreign Object in Food/Customer Illness
• Handling Procedures & Equipment Cleaning and Sanitation Procedures (including Hygeiena Luminometer and swab testing)
• Bioengineered Labeling Compliance
• Safety Data Sheets
• HAACP Plan – Maintenance and Oversight and updates and improvements
• HACCP System – Audit, Reports and oversee compliance of plan.
• Personnel Training
• Food Safety Team
• Research for improvements into best practices.

Our ideal candidate will have: 

• OR Food Handlers card
• Serv Safe Manager Certificate / Serv Safe Proctor Certificate – or ability to obtain one.
• PCQUI Certificate
• Experience in Project Management
• Thorough knowledge of food safety practices
