DRUM DRYER OPERATOR IN WOODBURN, OREGON SUMMARY: Responsible for the start-up, operation, and clean-up of the Drum Dryer and packaging room. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. Keep work area clean and rinse when necessary Follow proper cleaning procedures: cover photo eyes, motors and electrical components etc. Follow proper handling procedures when working with chemicals Follow- Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Annual Master Sanitation Schedules Maintains area of responsibility to meet GMP standards Follow LOTO (lock out/ tag out) procedures when cleaning QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Tree-Top Certified Forklift Operator. Trained in Hazardous Chemical Communication TECHNOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS: OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Trained to assemble and disassemble S.S. Bertochi Trained to start-up and CIP S.S.
