Hello!
I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer! What better way to bring it to a close than with an opportunity to see familiar faces and get to know some new ones at the 2015-16 OSIFT Kickoff Meeting the day after Labor Day! We will be meeting on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 at McMenamins Old Church & Pub in Wilsonville, OR!
This month's speaker will be John Damon, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing at OFD Foods, Inc. John's talk is titled: Designing for Six Sigma: Understanding Your Process Capabilities.
John joined OFD in 2011 after a 27-year career with Kraft Foods. He’s held numerous positions with Kraft, both domestically and internationally, including production supervisor, sanitation superintendent, production manager, plant manager, operation business/commercialization manager, regional director, and global category director. His experience was in every division of Kraft. He is sure to bring an exciting perspective to OSIFT!
John is a graduate of OSU, holding a B.S. in Business Management with Minors in Psychology and Southeast Asian History. He is married with 2 sons and holds a 1st degree blackbelt in Karate! He is also a true Oregon outdoorsman and loves bicycling, hunting, fly fishing, and camping with his family.
