QA/QC MANAGER

Base Salary: $80,000

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 
  • Support as QA Team Leader to ensure the training Team Members, ensure that the Food  Safety System is established, implemented, maintained; Prerequisite Programs, HACCP  and HARPC (Preventive Controls), GMPs, SSOPs, SQF, and GFCO guidelines and  policies are adhered to 
  •  Lead the internal auditing program 
  •  Ensure audit readiness for all Internal Quality Audits, SQF, GFCO, Vegan, Kosher and all  other 3rd Party audits, and respond to findings with Preventive and Corrective Actions  Lead the execution of cultural changes and activities needed to support Continuous  Improvement and QA&FS Initiatives 
  •  Provide day-to-day leadership to QA Departments and act as the primary liaison to outside  laboratories, and to external regulatory agencies 
  •  Ensure effective review, monitoring of QA and Production Records and escalate as needed  Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with frontline employees,  peers, and executives 
  •  Ability to drive positive change in both processes and systems and culture  Track, analyze, and lead initiatives for all quality and customer complaint issues  Complaint’s investigation and reduction 
  •  Analyzes quality data and make recommendations for improvement 
  •  Oversees timely calibration of equipment 
  •  Oversees the Pest Control Program 
  •  Performs other duties as assigned by the Management 
  •  Test pH, allergen on finished product 
  •  Test APT, Allergen, Gluten, and other necessary measures to ensure no hazard is present  prior and during the operation 
  •  Work with Kosher, Gluten-free, Non-GMO, Organic, and Vegan products 
  •  Create and review SOP 
  •  Conduct all QC/QA related meetings such as SQF Monthly Management review, GMP  training, Refresher training, Sanitation training 
  •  Working with a 3rd party lab for product shelf-life and/or microbial testing and other tests that  may have direct impact on food safety and public health.
