 Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the materials receiving, inventory management, work-order kitting, and distribution replenishment processes within the Warehouse department. Through the leadership and guidance of the Warehouse shift lead team, they coordinate and direct shift warehouse operations and personnel to ensure that quality work is performed in a safe, productive, and efficient manner. 
 Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for scheduling daily and weekly assignments for the shift leads and front-line warehouse team; leverages and administers policies, programs, and procedures to maximize output while minimizing labor costs
  • Responsible for training warehouse personnel on safe and efficient warehouse operations
  • Proactively monitors and measures warehouse department throughput and quality metrics; responsible for coaching, counseling, and managing employees via timely feedback and development. 
  • Establishes and executes processes to ensure accuracy of all department functions 
  • Maintains communication with the department manager and shift leads on warehouse operational priorities and resource needs
  • Assists Warehouse Manager in the annual development of department operating budget
  • Partners with the Inventory Coordinator to improve inventory integrity, troubleshoot areas of concern and leads the team through established cycle counting processes
  • Partners with the Health & Safety department to advance warehouse department safety programs and improve employee safety in the workplace. Responsible for investigating and reporting safety incidents to identify corrective actions and address safety findings
  • Leverages 5S and lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement processes, positively impacting the areas of quality, productivity, and sanitation
  • Responsible for taking necessary action on all food safety and quality problems reported or observed.

 Education and Experience Required:
  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution
  • 1+ years team or project leadership experience
  • 3+ years manufacturing experience
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and extra hours, as needed
 Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, maintenance, manufacturing, or related field
  • 3+ years supervisory experience
  • Previous experience with implementing behavior-based safety programs
  • Previous knowledge of warehouse equipment and forklift training programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong collaboration skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
 Physical Requirements: Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds 
  • Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shift
  • Much be able to crouch, kneel and stoop for 4+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to sit, stand and walk for 6+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to operate foot pedals for 4+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken word, and distinguish objects and equipment visually
