OSIFT Holiday Party 2023
Hosted by the Food Innovation Center, the vibrant food innovation hub supporting entrepreneurs, researchers, and businesses in Oregon and beyond!

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and supported the OSIFT Annual Holiday Celebration at the Food Innovation Center. It was fantastic to catch up with familiar faces and make new connections.

We indulged in a delicious meal while learning about the Food Innovation Center's capabilities and focus areas for 2024, while mingling with fellow food enthusiasts, industry and academia professionals, and staff of Oregon State University's Food Innovation Center.

Via proceeds from our annual raffle, OSIFT donated $1,675.08 to the Oregon Food Bank,  contributing to their vital mission of alleviating hunger and supporting those in need. It felt great to make a positive impact in our community during the holiday season!

The annual alumni reunion BBQ featured tasty food and a chance to mingle, reminisce, have fun and cheer the Beavs to victory!!!

This year's event was extra special since it was a celebration honoring Food Science and Technology advisor Dan Smith for his 30 years of service to the OSU community. Dan will retire at the end of 2023.

OSIFT facilitated the fun with our famous wheel, trivia, games and delicious prizes including freeze-dried skittles and 3 foot long meat sticks.
